Man in serious condition after Waterside assault
Two men have been arrested following an alleged assault on a man in the Waterside area of Derry early this morning (Monday February 1.)
The incident at Margaret Street, which is off Spencer Road, was reported to police at about 5am.
A man aged 27 was taken to hospital with a head injury.
His condition is believed to be serious.
Following the incident, two men aged 37 and 31 were arrested on suspicion of GBH and are assisting police with their enquiries. The scene is currently being held by police.
