Man injured following assault

A 73-year-old man sustained facial injuries following an assault outside licensed premises on the Kesh Road near the Down Royal Race Course on Saturday evening, June 22.

Police received the report just after 7.10pm of the disturbance at the car park and the man was subsequently taken to hospital for treatment.

A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of AOABH and has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
