Man injured in assault
A 33 year old man has sustained head injuries following an assault in Kenlis Street.
Constable Shauna Magennis said: “Around midnight on Monday, March 9, two males called to a house in Kenlis Street. When the door was opened the two men forced their way into the house and assaulted the 33 year old male occupant. Damage was also caused to the house. The occupant sustained an injury to his head which required medical treatment.
“The first assailant is described as being approximately 6ft 4in tall and was wearing a beanie hat. The second male is described as being around 6ft tall and of stocky build with short, dark hair.
“We would like to hear from anyone who has information. We can be contacted on 101, quoting ref: 94 090315.”
