A police investigation is underway into an incident in which a man was set upon by four persons in the George Street area of Ballymena on Sunday night.

A report was received by the PSNI shortly before 7.55pm that a male had been attacked at licensed premises by four unknown men.
A police spokesman said yesterday (Monday) that it is believed the man was attacked with pool cues.Any information to police at Ballymena on 0845 600 8000.
