Stephen Kelly (41), High Street, Gilford, had pleaded guilty to disorderly behaviour on April 10 last year at a previous court.

It was adjourned until last week so that a pre-sentence report could be obtained.

The court heard that a fight took place between three males outside the High Street Mall in Portadown.

When police arrived all of them admitted that a scuffle had taken place.

District Judge, Mrs Bernie Kelly, said colourful would be the adjective to describe the defendant’s record but he had pleaded guilty at the first occasion.

She imposed a conditional discharge for 12 months giving Kelly credit for his early plea and his lack of any public order offence for some period of time.
