Man is banned from driving

In his absence a 30-year-old man was banned from driving for six months last Thursday at Banbridge Magistrates Court.

He was Steven Robert Weir, Primrose Gardens, Banbridge. The charges against alleged that on September 28 last year he drove without having insurance at Roes Hill, Lawrencetown, had no supervisor, did not display ‘L’ plates and took a vehicle without consent.

District Judge, Mr Paul Copeland, convicted him on all four offences.He was also ordered him to pay a £15 offender’s levy.
