Man is charged with public order offence

A 23-year-old man was charged with public order offences last Thursday at Banbridge Magistrates Court.

He was James Gary Porter, Corbally Road, Banbridge.

The charges against him allege that on October 22 this year he used disorderly behaviour at Church Square, Banbridge, and he resisted two police officers.

A police officer said she was aware of the facts and believed she could connect the accused with the charges.

Portadown was remanded on his own bail of £100 to appear again at court on December 1.

A condition of his bail is that he is not to consume alcohol.
