Concurrent three month terms were imposed for criminal damage to a wall and a door at a house in Thornleigh, Lurgan, and criminal damage to a police cell.

On December 22 police went to the address in Thornleigh where they found the defendant standing in the hall. There was damage to the door and hallway and the injured party said he had a threat to kill her.

A solicitor for Seeley said he had a history of alcohol misuse and addiction.

She added that his mother had provided a lot of support for him in recent years and he was very remorseful for his behaviour.

The solicitor said it was clear from the police interviews he would never have laid a finger on his mother.
