Man killed in north Antrim crash

The man who died was related to UUP Councillor Darryl Wilson.

“I am just finding out this morning (the person who was killed) it was a relation,” the Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Councillr said.

The two vehicle crash happened on the Garryduff Road outside Ballymoney.

Earlier police said the road had been closed between Windsor Gardens and Lislagan Road.

Councillor Wilson added: “The accident happened at the Lislagan Road junction which has been a bit of a black spot.

“I had just mailed Roads Service about seven days ago asking them to cut the verges because people can’t see and it is not very safe.”
