Man lifted after cocaine find
A 35 year old man has been arrested following a house search and the seizure of a small amount of suspected herbal cannabis and cocaine at a flat in the Bogside area of Londonderry earlier today, Monday (January 11).
The man has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a class A controlled drug, possession of a class B controlled drug, possession of a class A controlled drug with intent to supply and possession of a class B controlled drug with intent to supply.
Inspector Jonathan Hunter said: “The man is currently assisting police with their enquiries. I would like to take this opportunity to remind the community to report any information in relation to drugs in their area to their local police station on the non-emergency number 101.
