Man made obscene gestures to the police
A LURGAN man who made an obscene gesture to police was fined £150 last Thursday at Craigavon court for disorderly behaviour on May 6.
He was 40-year-old Kieran Callum Martin, of Kilwilkie Road, Lurgan, and he admitted the offence through solicitor, Mr Felim Rafferty.
The court heard that police were at Lake Street and the defendant shouted loudly at police before giving an obscene gesture.
Mr Rafferty said the offence was at the lower end of the scale.
