Man punched and kicked land rover

A man who kicked a police vehicle was given 120 hours community service last Friday at Craigavon Court.

Kevin Toland (20) of Meadowbrook admitted disorderly behaviour and jaywalking on May 26.

The court heard that at 1.50am in Charles Street, Lurgan, Toland started punching and kicking a police land rover. Later in Dill Avenue he walked in front of a police vehicle with his arms and legs spread, preventing it from passing.

District Judge, Mr Mervyn Bates, said was offensive behaviour. Toland was in an adult court for the first time.
