Man rescued from river
A man has been rescued from the River Foyle this morning.
According to staff at Foyle Search and Rescue, at 8.54am this morning, Monday, December 28, the PSNI activated the FSR Emergency Response Team following reports of a person in the River.
FSR responded with two boats and a mobile team.
Arriving on scene a male person was observed in the water, was rescued and transferred to an ambulance and taken to hospital.
The PSNI were in attendance.
