Man seriously injured in Nutts Corner crash

POLICE are investigating a road traffic collision at Nutts Corner in which a male sustained serious internal injuries.

The 44-year-old was injured when his Volkswagen Passat was in collision with a Vauxhall Astra close to the service station on the Tully Road at around 5.45pm on Wednesday, February 20.

He was taken to hospital where he underwent emergency surgery. His condition is now described as serious but stable.

The driver of the Astra suffered a broken foot in the collision.

Antrim police are investigating the circumstances and are keen to hear from witnesses. Officers can be contacted on 0845 600 8000.
