He also slashed tyres on three other vehicles and when police arrived he told them, “I’m guilty.”

He was also ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy and banned from driving for 12 months.

A fine of £100 was imposed on each of four charges of criminal damage and he was ordered to pay compensation sums of £70, £130, £50 and £50.

The court heard that police were called to a disturbance at the Armagh Road, Portadown.

Glass came up to them and said, “I’m guilty. I’m guilty. I’ve done a silly thing and I will pay for the tyres.”

The defendant’s ex-partner was at a friend’s house at a party and four cars were damaged by him.

Glass failed a breath test at the scene and in the custody suite an evidential test gave a reading of 60.

He told police he had a brain tumour and could not recall anything.

A solicitor representing Glass said he had taken far too much alcohol.
