Man stabbed in Ballykeel

Detectives in Ballymena received a report of a serious assault at residential premises at the Knockeen Road on Sunday night, March 18.

It was reported shortly after 11.25pm that a 64-year-old man was stabbed in a house in the area.

The man was taken to hospital for treatment for his injuries. His condition is described as not life threatening.

One man aged 37 years old has been arrested and is currently helping police with their enquiries.
