Man stole from chemist shop

A man who admitted stealing a pedicure set, hand sanitiser and lip balm from a chemist shop had sentence against him deferred so that he could pay outstanding fines.

Before Londonderry Magistrates’ Court was David Gerard McCloskey (25), of Clooney Terrace, who admitted stealing the items, worth £22, from Lloyds Pharmacy on January 27, while he was collecting a prescription.

The court was told McCloskey was now banned from the chemist.

McCloskey will appear before the court again on June 8.
