Man subjected to verbal abuse of a racist nature

Police are appealing for information after the man was subjected to verbal abuse of a racist nature by another man in the Horace Street area on Monday evening (10th).

It is understood the offender threw an object at the man but failed to make contact.

Anyone who was in the area around 6.30pm and could help police with their enquiries is asked to contact Strand Road on 0845 600 8000. Alternatively information can be passed on anonymously through the 'Crimestoppers' charity on freephone 0800 555 111.
