In a comical post by the PSNI Craigavon on Facebook, the police asked: “Did you hear the one about the uninsured driver who tried to hide his car keys in a bush under his bag of weed?!

“Staggeringly, not a joke.

“We didn’t even need a dog to sniff them out, although I kinda feel like I deserve a treat now,” said the PSNI author.

“Mind you, the one who first “checked the bush” will be making tea for a week for the one who checked it properly (yours truly!),” said the post.

“Anyway, that’s another uninsured car off the road, and a male in custody for driving with no insurance, possession of class B and other motoring offences.

“Oh, he also tried to hide from police in an empty car park.”
