Man was verbally abusive to police

A 28-year-old man who used ‘very offensive’ language to police was fined £200 last Friday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for disorderly behaviour on Augusr 2 this year.

Barry Mullen, Carrigart Manor, Craigavon, was also fined £100 for indecent behaviour.

The court heard that at 1.30am a police patrol in William Street saw him urinating in a doorway. When spoken to was verbally abusive towards police.

His solicitor said it was the early hours of Sunday morning and he got caught short after leaving licensed premises. Mullen would apologise for his actions and language he used.
