Margaret is a cut above the rest!

A BALLYMONEY lady is our first 2010 worthy winner of the Bouquet of the Month thanks to her friend and Blooms Florist.

Margaret Kinnaird from Eastburn Drive used to run the popular hairdressing salon Cut Above before being diagnosed with a form of MS.

In an emotional letter to the Times, her friend Helen McClure explained: "I would like to put Margaret forward to receive a free bouquet of flowers this month.

"I think Margaret would deserve this nice surprise because she has been ill now for almost a year with a form of MS which has left her confined to a wheelchair - she can walk a little bit with the help of a walking aid.

"Margaret has been in and out of hospital a lot this year but is at home now hoping the medication will help her live as normal a life as possible.

"She has two children, a boy and a girl, and had a successful hairdressing business in Church Street in Ballymoney called Cut Above.

"Margaret is very well known around the Ballymoney and Dervock area and very highly thought of. Her life is so much different now not being able to meet people doing hair and having a chat the way she used to do.

"I hope you agreed that Margaret is the most deserving person for the bouquet this month."
