Marie Curie 'Stock our Shops' Appeal

SIR, -- I am writing to ask Ballymena TimeS' readers to help 'stock our shops' this month and help support their local Marie Curie Cancer Care nursing service.

People can lend a hand by clearing out their cupboards and taking any unwanted items in to the local Marie Curie Cancer Care shop in Ballymena.

Or why not get colleagues involved and hold a donation day at work.

Our charity shops especially need more donations of high quality ladies clothing but books, menswear, china, linen and toys are also very welcome

We are reliant on the generosity of local people – whether they donate or shop with us - to raise the funds needed to care for terminally ill people and their families.

On average, each bag of donated goods raises 20 which will provide one hour of Marie Curie nursing care.

To find out more pop into your local shop at Unit 2 Tower Centre, Wellington Street, Ballymena or visit www.mariecurie.org.uk/supportus/shopping or call 028 25639273

Every donation will help Marie Curie Nurses care for more patients who wish to spend their final days at home, surrounded by their loved ones.

Yours etc.,
