Marriage vows to be exchanged at Carnfunnock
PLANS to allow civil ceremonies to take place at Carnfunnock Country Park have met with the approval of councillors.
At the latest meeting of Larne council in Smiley Buildings, members were told that the local authority had been inundated with requests from couples who wished to hold their big day at the park.
As a result, members agreed to allow the walled garden area of the park to be hired out to happy couples at a cost of 200, which includes the transportation of chairs, tables and other equipment to the venue.
