Masked men attack Larne house with baseball bats

Detective Sergeant John McKendry revealed: “At approximately 10.15pm two masked men, brandishing what was believed to be baseball bats, broke a number of windows of a house.

“There was a female in the house at the time of the incident. She was not injured, however she was left very badly shaken.

“I would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who has information to contact police at Larne on the non-emergency number 101.

“Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
