‘Masked men fired shots’ inColeraine

A householder in the Ardina area of the town heard a number of bangs shortly after midnight.

“Three masked men were then seen getting into a dark coloured saloon car which drove away from the scene,” a police spokesman said.

Officers discovered that a nearby house and van had broken windows.

“No one was in the house at the time and there have been no reports of any injuries,” the spokesman continued.

Detectives are linking the incidents and would like to speak to anyone in the area at the time.
