Masked men rob house in Kilrea

It was reported that three masked men forced their way into a house shortly before 9 pm and demanded money.

A male occupant, aged in his 40’s, was tied up and beaten. He sustained severe bruising and lacerations and was taken to hospital for treatment. The injuries are not believed to be life threatening. The culprits left empty handed.

Detective Constable Siobhan Watt is appealing for information:
