Masterplanpublicprocess nears end

The public consultation process on the draft proposals for a Masterplan for Ballymoney Town Centre will end on September 12.

Council Development Chair, Bill Kennedy, said: “The Masterplan will provide a framework for a co-ordinated approach to the regeneration of Ballymoney town centre over the next 15-20 years.”

The Alderman also revealed that the boards will be on display in a shop unit at 51A Main Street (beside McAfee Properties) this Tuesday and Wednesday from 11am-3pm, commenting: “I hope that local shoppers and visitors to the town will pop in and view the plans”.

The proposals can also be viewed online at the Department for Social Development (DSD) website and Ballymoney Borough Council website, where a response form, with key questions, is available for completion. - www.dsdni.gov.uk/consultations or www.ballymoney.gov.uk
