Masts removed in Portrush
SEVERAL masts at the Station Square development in Portrush have had to be removed due to staining caused by water ingress.
The Corporate Director of Leisure Services, Mr Richard Baker, informed councillors at last week’s Leisure and Environment Committee meeting that it is hoped the masts will be reinstated before Christmas.
“The masts were removed last week and we are hopeful that repair work will be completed before Christmas,” said Mr Baker.
“We are also looking at a solution to repair damaged seating. This work will not cost the council any expense.”
