Matt Shirley funeral on Wednesday
Ballymena pensioner Matt Shirley who died in the Drumtara area of Ballymena last Tuesday will be laid to rest tomorrow (Wednesday).
Townspeople have been shocked by the death of the 69-year-old whose body was found at a flat in Drumtara on April 28. Police are treating the death as a murder inquiry.
Mr Shirley will be interred at Ballymena Cemetery following his funeral service in Stevenson’s Funeral Home in the town at 11am.
