Matthew raises £1,900 for Cancer Fund for Children

A talented young Ahoghill boy has raised £1,900 for a local charity close to his heart with the sale of a CD.

Matthew Crawford raised the money for the Cancer Fund for Children – a charity which has supported his family – by donating proceeds from his CD ‘Oh How I Need You’.

Previously the big hearted Ahoghill boy raised £1,550 for the cancer charity by producing DVDs of Ahoghill’s Twelfth of July parade and selling them in local shops.

Speaking about his fundraising, Matthew told The Ballymena Times: “I am so grateful to everyone who bought my CDs and DVDs.”

money is going towards a fantastic charity that offers practical, emotional and financial support to local families affected by cancer.”
