May cuts ribbon at new Mid-Antrim Animal Sanctuary

THE new Mid-Antrim Animal Sanctuary has officially opened it’s doors to residents looking for loving homes.

The opening ceremony was carried out by Chairwoman Grace Orbinson, sand cutting the ribbon was well known actor and pantomime dame May McFettridge (John Linehan).

Animal residents can now have access to the new kennels and cattery, with education suites also available at the newly built sanctuary.

Since first opening in April 1996, Mid-Antrim has prided itself on rehoming an average of 20 animals per week whether they have come from pounds, broken marriages or cruelty cases.

At the home you will find all manner of animals and breeds, from kittens right through to Rottweillers.

Along with the new animal sanctuary has come a new logo design, website and brand new merchandise store.
