May we endeavour to practice the art of patience

“I have learned in whatsoever state I am in, there with to be content” PHIL 4:11

Though God has a plan for each day ahead

We can only live in the now,

And should things take an unexpected turn

Let’s not question why or how.

May we endeavour to practice the art of patience

Somehow our souls are enlarged as we wait,

Believe that the best is on its way

God in His time will put things straight.

Thoughts in time will develop their forms

So build a spirit that nothing can break,

Drink from the springs that will never run dry

Blessings flow freely for you to take.

Quite often we manufacture our own unhappiness

Simply just from the thoughts we choose,

But when we exercise faith, conceive of the best

Come what may we just cannot lose,
