Maydown: Road closed
The PSNI has announced that Maydown Road is likely to remain closed until Monday, due to the ongoing fire at the former Brickkiln plant.
In a statement a PSNI spokesman said: “Motorists are advised that the Maydown Road in Derry has been closed to traffic from its junction with the Haw Road to allow NIFRS to continue to deal with the ongoing fire on Electra Road.
“The road is expected to remain closed until Monday.”
