Mayor asks publicto support her chosen charities

The Mayor of Londonderry Brenda Stevenson is urging the public to support two of the city’s most worthy charities at a special Flag Day being held in the city centre on Sunday (July 27).

The Mayor will be joining a team of volunteers taking to the streets to collect for Something Special, which provides support and opportunities for people with learning difficulties, and Circle of Support for Autism Families, a vital network for those caring for children with Autism.

She stated: “I am delighted to be able to offer support to both these charities throughout my term in office, as they have such an invaluable role to play within our community.”
