The Mayor recently joined Mencap supporters, including Mencap Ambassador and actress Ty Glaser, for a baton relay to celebrate the charity’s official partnership with the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon for the next three years.

“We can’t wait to see how many people from the area get out and support Mencap in this year’s Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon,” said Mr Beckett. “The services and programmes Mencap offers are crucial to our area, so we are happy to lend our support. We encourage any local businesses or organisations to sign up a relay team or train for the whole thing and raise money for Mencap.”
