Mayor sends book of Condolence to Mayor of Oslo

Mayor, Councillor Ian Stevenson has sent the Book of Condolence, opened after the attacks in Norway which killed 76 people, to the Mayor of Oslo.

The book follows a message of condolence which the Mayor sent to the people of Norway in the immediate aftermath of the attacks.

Pictured looking through the messages in the book, the Mayor said , “Like people all over the world the people of Ballymoney were shocked by the violence of the events in Norway and have expressed their sympathy in this book. I am pleased that so many joined with me in expressing condolences to the Norwegian people.”
