Mayor to host evening of hymn

THE Mayor of Craigavon, Councillor Mrs Meta Crozier, is following on from last year's successful evening of traditional hymns and is hosting an 'Evening of Popular Hymns'.

It takes place in Craigavon Civic Centre on Friday, April 16, at 7.30pm.

Music will be provided by flautist Drew Rowan and organist Ryan Harris and singing will be led by Shankill Parish Church Choir accompanied by Mr Carl McCambley. Admission is free but a freewill offering will be taken on the evening for the Uganda Orphans' Project.

As per last year’s event they are taking requests for the evening, so if you have a favourite hymn, please forward the details to The Mayor’s Office, Craigavon Borough Council, Craigavon Civic & Conference Centre, Lakeview Road, Craigavon, BT64 1AL, Tel 3831 2403 or E-mail: [email protected] by Tuesday, March 30.
