Mayor to mark ‘Gibraltar Day’
Ballymena Mayor Audrey Wales and a senior member of Council staff have been invited to attend the prestigious annual celebration of ‘Gibraltar Day’ in the City of London on October 20.
Acceptance of the invitation from the UK representative of the Government of Gibraltar, with which the Ballymena borough is twinned, was confirmed by councillors at their monthly meeting, last week.
