Mayor to zip across Foyle for suicide charity

DAREDEVIL Londonderry Mayor Colum Eastwood is to traverse the River Foyle on a zip line next month.

The Mayor has announced he will be taking part in Foyle Search and Rescue's Zip slide Across the Foyle challenge event on November 13.

Not for the fainthearted, the event will see hundreds of individuals travel at speed along a 1300 ft long wire while suspended 180ft above and across the River Foyle.
