Prior to the Christmas celebration, the visiting Mayors joined the Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Thomas Hogg, for the official signing of the Twinning partnership agreements.

Councillor Hogg commented, “I was delighted to welcome such a diverse range of community and voluntary workers to this event. It is important that we recognise the efforts that our community and voluntary workers put in to making our borough a place in which people want to work, live and invest.”

The event raised around £650 for the Mayor’s three charities: ABF The Soldier’s Charity, Autism NI and the Cancer Fund For Children. For more information on the Mayor’s charities, visit the council website.
