Mayor’s home attacked

The home of the Mayor of Coleraine, councillor George Duddy has been attacked overnight.

Police are appealing for information after an incident of criminal damage in the Drumaquill Road area of Coleraine last night, Sunday 30 November.

Shortly before 9.20pm it was reported that graffiti had been painted on a garden wall in the area.

Inspector David McCausland confirmed Police are treating this as a hate crime and would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information in relation to it to contact Police in Coleraine on the non-emergency number 101.
