Mayor's praise for MBE recipients
THE Mayor of Ballymoney has added his congratulations to Jean and Rodney Hayley who received the MBE in the New Year Honours list.
Speaking on Monday night, Cllr. Frank Campbell said:
“I want to acknowledge local citizens who have been recognized in the New Years Honours List.
“Jean and Rodney Hayley received the MBE for services to Children and families in Northern Ireland. The local couple who also recently received the foster careers of the year award by leading charity Foster Network have, I understand, to date provided foster care for some 50 children. It is pleasing that there contribution to this worthy work has been so suitably recognized.
