Maze Brookfield ladies hold annual dinner

A beautiful dinner was served and there was plenty of fun afterwards with table quizzes and games.

At the March meeting President Helen Dunlop welcomed everyone and thanked the Area Quiz team members Aileen Dixon, Catherine Watson, Ann Whaley and reserve Margaret Walsh. Esther Law and Rosemary Miller were also thanked for taking part in the Area Bowls competition.

Guest speaker for the evening was Rev. Derek Weir, who gave a most amusing and informative talk on the royal family. Derek also brought along a very interesting selection of royal memorabilia that he had collected over many years.

Elizabeth Yarr gave the vote of thanks. The birthday prize was won by Connie Walker. Competition winners were first Helen Dunlop, second Aileen Dixon and third Pauline Johnston and ballot winners were Jean Bell, Dorothy Andrews, Freda McFarland and Eleanor Walsh.
