Maze Brookfield WI
President of Maze Brookfield Ann Whaley welcomed everyone to their January Meeting, including two members of PSNI Road Policing who were guest speakers for the evening. They were given a most interesting and informative talk on all aspects of road safety, including the importance of taking responsibility for our own actions when driving.
Many questions were put to the speakers and much was learnt about road safety during the evening. The vote of thanks was given by Connie Walker. Birthday girl was Pauline Johnston. Ballot prizes were won by Iris Walker, Pauline Johnston and Aileen Dixon. The competition winners for a road safety tip were Dorothy Andrews, Barbara Nicol and Hilda Law.
A quiz took place to select the team who will take part in the forthcoming area quiz. The evening concluded with a delicious supper.
