Maze WI hold AGM
THE President of Maze Brookfield Women’s Institute, Barbara McClenahan, welcomed everyone to the September meeting, which opened with a minute’s silence for Betty Edgar and Ethel Shannon, valued members who had passed away during the summer.
The President then welcomed Ann Henning as chairman for the annual general meeting.
Dorothy Andrews was elected as President and the new committee were Helen Cantley, Sally Douglas, June Gordon, Hazel Law, Hilda Law, Aileen Dixon, Barbara McClenahan, Freda McFarland, Eleanor Sufferin, Iris Walker and Eleanor Walsh. A delicious supper was then served by the outgoing committee.
