McCandless condemns building society incident
Ulster Unionist councillor William McCandless has condemned the criminal gang behind Monday's robbery at a building society in Coleraine.
“Like the entire community in Coleraine and the surrounding area, I was shocked to learn that a criminal gang are alleged to have targeted an employee of the Nationwide at his home and forced him to travel to his place of work in Coleraine.
“This gang must be caught, and I would appeal to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the Ballybogey area around 3am on Monday morning, or who has any information that can help the Police in this investigation, to come forward immediately.”
