McCrea visit to Cookstown job centre

Mr McCrea said he was delighted to have the opportunity to visit the centre and see the spacious open plan layout which will be a more inviting environment for job seeking people.

“During my visit I had the opportunity to speak with the management and staff and could easily see their delight at their new working environment that will enable them to give people a personal service as well as when necessary a private interview in one of their purpose fitted interview rooms,” he said.

“Whilst maintaining jobs and pressing government ministers for investment to create jobs in Mid Ulster remains a priority for me; the current economic climate that exists continues to have an adverse effect on jobs, especially within the construction industry,” he said.
