McDonald's marks 20 years in Carrickfergus

McDonald's in Carrickfergus celebrated 20 years in the local community by holding a day of celebration last Friday (October 27).

A wide range of activities were organised throughout the day, kicking off with a stakeholder breakfast followed by an afternoon of family fun.

Festivities ran from 4.30pm and included a magician; balloon modelling; face painting as well as everyone’s favourite Disney princesses and heroes.

As part of their celebrations, McDonald's announced that the restaurant will be refurbished in May of next year.

Technology will be at the heart of this transformation, providing customers with more choice as to how they order and pay, adapting how the food is prepared and served while offering new technological features.
