DUP Assemblyman David McIlveen says he met with senior representatives from the contractors to discuss current works being carried out in the Orkney Drive area following complaints aired to him by a number of residents over work commencing as early as 7.30am and the cleanliness of streets at the end of the working day.

Mr McIlveen said: “I have asked the contractor to take the views of residents on board and they have undertaken to do so. I have been advised that work to the roads should be finished quite quickly and that the full works are on schedule to be completed by spring 2016.”
