McKillop says thanks
GLENS Sinn Fein Councilor Margaret Anne McKillop would like to thank Moyle District Council for clearing the paths in the Cottage Wood site in Cushendall.
She said: “The site was in a bad state due to lack of a full term worker and she has been putting pressure on Moyle District Council to get the problem sorted. The site has now thankfully got someone to look after it for the summer months but Councilor McKillop would call on Council to employ someone all year round so the site is keep clean and safe for everyone to enjoy.
“The site is used daily by both tourists and locals and is a beautiful area to walk round however without the proper care and attention it can become very dangerous and a health and safety harzard.”
